• Location (city and country, used for weather and care recommendations)
• Weed identification photos and results
• Chat conversation history with the Lawn Assistant
• Feedback you voluntarily submit

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used to:

• Personalise lawn care recommendations based on your grass type and region
• Incorporate local weather patterns into care guidance
• Provide AI chat context so advice is relevant to your specific lawn
• Improve the service through aggregated, anonymised insights

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Lawnova:

• Clerk — authentication and account management
• Supabase — secure database storage
• OpenAI — AI chat responses (your messages are sent to OpenAI to generate answers)
• WeatherAPI — local weather data based on your city
• Stripe — payment processing (billing details handled entirely by Stripe)

Each provider operates under their own privacy policy.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained while your account is active. You can delete individual lawn zones, weed records, and chat conversations at any time within the app. To delete your entire account and all associated data, contact us via the in-app feedback form.

5. Security

All data is stored with row-level security, meaning each user can only access their own records. Connections are encrypted in transit via HTTPS.
